Anjani Kumar Srivastava
Sh. Anjani Kumar Srivastava is a proud alumnus of the founder students’ batch (1984–88) of Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow, then affiliated to Lucknow University. He joined the institute on its very first day to pursue B.Tech. (Electronics & Communication Engineering), growing alongside IET during its formative years.
During his student life, he actively contributed to institution building — initiating the students’ cooperative mess system in A-Block Hostel in February 1985, and later guiding similar systems in B, C & D Blocks and Gargi Bhawan. He also played a key role in the naming and formation of ISSACC (INSTECH Students Sports & Cultural Council) during 1986–87 under the guidance of Prof. R. S. Nirjhar, and served as a student signatory for approving the official emblem of IET, Lucknow.
With over 36 years of professional experience, he worked across senior roles in Sales & Services with MNCs and reputed private industries, primarily in manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of electrical and electronics systems for Railway Rolling Stock — including propulsion systems for India’s first Vande Bharat rake (T-18).
After taking VRS in March 2024, he has settled in Lucknow. He is currently active as a real estate and mutual fund investor, and provides consultancy services to industries engaged in Railway Rolling Stock manufacturing.
From being a founder student to contributing to nation-building projects, his journey reflects the spirit of IET — initiative, integrity, and impact. He firmly believes that strong alumni engagement is the backbone of a great institution, and remains committed to giving back, inspiring younger generations, and working collectively for the continued growth and global recognition of his alma mater.
